FAQs

Questions, answered

Straight answers for embryologists and clinical directors.

What is IVF 2.0?

A connected ecosystem of intelligent software tools for assisted reproduction. Each product supports a different cell — sperm (SiD), embryo (ERICA), and, coming soon, oocyte (AERIS) — so your lab works with one consistent, data-rich platform.

Is this a diagnostic device that replaces the embryologist?

No. Our tools are designed to assist embryologists and clinical teams with consistent, documented, explainable information. The professional always makes the decision.

How does intelligent software help my lab?

By providing standardized, repeatable assessments and capturing structured data (images, video, metrics) for every procedure — so your team spends less time on documentation and more on care.

What about our data and privacy?

Data stays scoped to your clinic. We follow medical-software and information-security standards, and you remain in control of your information at all times.

Do the products work together?

Yes. That is the core idea: SiD, ERICA (and soon AERIS and SOFI) share one backend, so information flows securely across the journey — from gametes to embryo to outcome.

Which regulatory standards do you follow?

Our medical software is developed under recognized standards (e.g. EU MDR, IEC 62304, ISO quality and information-security practices). Details are available on request.

What hardware and internet do we need?

ERICA is entirely web-based — all you need is a modern browser and a connection to ivf20.app and its subdomains. SiD requires a computer with at least an Intel i5 processor and 8 GB of RAM; we recommend an i7 with 16 GB of RAM and a dedicated GPU for real-time sperm analysis during ICSI. An internet connection to IVF 2.0 servers is required for both products — nothing else.

What security measures are in place? Our IT team will ask.

We follow medical-software and information-security standards, with data scoped to your clinic and never shared across organisations. All communication is encrypted in transit, access is role-based, and our infrastructure is designed to meet the expectations of clinical IT departments. We are happy to share our security documentation and architecture overview with your IT team — just contact us and we will set up a call.

How do we get started?

Reach out through Contact us. We will walk your team through the products relevant to your workflow and set up an evaluation.
